What makes our class valuable to you?
Class is formatted to your learning style. This format allows us to provide you with more personalized one-on-one attention and more practical hands-on training. This means you will have participated in 25 colon hydrotherapy sessions and will actually perform 10 to 20 colonics on clients while you are attending class. This definitely prepares you to enter your office or place of employment with more confidence. This provides you with the 25 colonics needed to fulfill your I-ACT certification requirement.
We teach the “Shea Slow Fill Method” and have found that this gentle method allows the client to feel safe, respected and comfortable. We have learned that by creating a safe, nurturing, loving environment and asking the client permission, they are more relaxed and we earn their trust. This is an important piece in our teaching model.
Continuing Education
If you have trained as a Colon Hydrotherapist, but feel you need more experience or individual instruction, our mentor program or telephone coaching is perfect for you! If you need more hands-on experience, our 2-1/2 day in-house mentor program will give you the confidence you need to get up and running. Our telephone coaching allows us to answer questions you may have about procedures, ethics, business and marketing, “what do I do when” issues or problem solving. We also offer intermediate, advanced and instructor programs that are held on-site or by home study. If you are interested in the continuing education programs please contact us and we will keep you informed of class schedule and programs being offered. Remember, we are here to help you and assist you in your colon hydrotherapy business and career.

When we have received your application for enrollment and payment or deposit you are registered for that class. Your books and pre-study materials will be sent to you immediately. A deposit of 50% of your tuition is due with your application. The balance of your tuition is to be paid in full three weeks prior to your first day of class. I-ACT annual membership is $150 and I-ACT test fee is an additional $75 per test. I will send a copy of the I-ACT certification requirements to you for review upon request. If you are already I-ACT certified and you are interested in making a presentation or testing for I-ACT credit, your dues must be current. There is no charge for making an I-ACT presentation in my clinic.

Getting Started: Your First Steps
Congratulations on taking your first step into a rich and rewarding career! We are excited about your interest in our school and look forward to helping you achieve your dream. You will be joining a group of men and women who are educating and helping others and themselves achieve better health. The following is a checklist to help you prepare for your enrollment and class.
Call our office at 425-747-6900 and arrange an entrance interview with Mary Dennis.
You must:
1. Fill out the application (located on our website) and mail it to our office for acceptance into this program. Submit with application the appropriate fee or deposit for class selected. Once you are accepted into the course, we require a deposit to hold your space. $250 of this deposit covers the textbooks and home-study materials you need for your class and is not refundable once you have received the materials. The balance is due 21 days prior to the first day of the course. Please call our office to authorize a credit card, debit card or to send a check by that deadline. You may pay with cash, check, VISA or Master Card. All credit card payments will be charged an additional 3% bank fee. Once we receive your first payment, we will send you the home-study materials and textbooks.
2. You must complete the Anatomy and Physiology exams from the home-study materials with a minimum score of 90% in order to earn your 120-hour certification. You must have your test finished by the end of the course and it will be graded no later than the morning of the last day of class. Please note, any questions you have about the material and we will discuss them in class. 40% of your grade is for the practicum portion of your study.
3. As you work on your study materials at home, you may want to invest in a good medical dictionary. These may be found at Amazon and used bookstores. Most Barnes & Nobles, Borders, Dalton or Books-A-Million carry them in stock.
4. Please arrive at the clinic in time for our orientation on the day class begins. If coming in from out of town we suggest you arrive early the day prior to your class to allow time for you to rest. Please call the school when you arrive in the Seattle or Bellevue area, letting us know you have arrived, where you are staying and room number. We will meet at our clinic for orientation and introductions. If you need transportation to or from your hotel, let us know and we will be happy to assist you.
5. The course hours are listed in the handbook on pages 7-8. During clinic days, please wear whites or business attire. Remember our focus is on practice and professionalism.
6. Upon successful completion, you will be invited to join I-ACT, which has over 1800 professional members in 21 countries. If you plan to join, we suggest you take the Level I exam mid-week and Level 2 exam on the last day of class while the information is fresh in your mind. I-ACT annual membership dues are $150 and $75 for each test level, payable to I-ACT. An I-ACT information packet and application will be provided to you.
7. On your last day, we will present the school diploma to you. If you choose to join I-ACT, they will mail you an additional membership certificate. After you have completed all the requirements for the levels of certification you have tested for, you will receive your certificates from I-ACT.
8. Your evenings are free while you are here, so there is plenty of time to explore the area, read, rest and exercise.
10. We want to encourage you to move ahead with confidence and create a healing environment that suits your needs. Ask us for any assistance you may need.
Remember that we only accept 2 students per class, so please reserve well in advance.
